Brown Brother Speech- Reflection

Reflection about Brown-Brother..

His Speech is based on our Stereotype. He says that colour shouldn't stop us.

He speaks about our Demographic which are Jobs that are unqualified, working on the bottom floors. Teenagers- Drop out- Stereotype being great the arts but hating educational subjects/stuff that could possibly be used in the future. He says, if (we're) I'm lucky I'll have a career in Rugby not to reveal education floors. Then he mention teen pregnancy, which can destroy your future and your child's future.

What he says is truthful, we P.I people are lacking confidence in ourselves, we are wasting valuable time adding to the ground of statics. Blaming everyone but ourselves. And using the glowing words as defensive in a argument saying "You’re A racist"

He questions us, why are we always putting our people to shame. Being the intelligent Polynesia. Will he ever change. Seen or its thought of intelligent, our fights about everything.

We are all the same. We do not belong in the bottom in the food chain. We are cable, keeping our Christian faith. Not being afraid of reaching our goals, making a change of mindset..

Reading New Book!- Malorie Blackman Noughts & Crosses

Sorry I haven't post much lately,  I am having problems with my netbook and my desktop so there's no way I CAN GO ONLINE! I am now, reading another book, that has nothing to do with cancer but it has something to do with love. To be correct  its "Forbitten Love" and Races.  Basically it goes like this. In their world being white, means that you are the second class citizen in the world. White = Nought. Then, if your skin colour is black,brown then that makes you a Cross. Closer to God. 

Term 2 Evaluation

Term 2 has finally end! & Sadly we have Mrs Pole, one of our most dedicated teachers who has sever this school for more than 17 years. We wish her the best! 
I have learned so much, learning new Skills in Math and Reading.

One of the things I thought I have nailed is addition. I am more confident than I used to be and fractions is now more simple. My job is to now push myself up a little bit. 

Reading, my problem is to identify the main idea and to express my thinking by using more vocabulary words. 

Writing, what I am lacking is. Organization, Sentences Structure.  And to put my ideas into each paragraph which is connected to Organization.

My Thoughts:
I personally think I could do better than this term. I plan to be more active and involved for Term 3. 

Mockingjay ending

Mockingjay Ending:

I have just finished the Mockingjay written by Suzanne Collins. To give a vocabulary list of a description of the book, it was. Phenomenal, Dark, Emotional, Dramatic, Intense Deadly, Impulsive and lastly Heartbreaking. 
I personally thought that there was no sunshine in this book. It created little Scenarios that led on to a big conclusion. I sympathize and grief for characters such as, Finnick, Katniss and Johanna.

My Favourite part of the story is the ending.
That thing that Peeta does when he asks what is real or not real. How Peeta Ask Katniss if she loved him real or not real? 

Whispering "You love me? Real or not real?" and she tells him. "Real" 

I thought the book was romantic, the thing I was stuck on. That Coin had allowed that bomb that Gale and Beetee design. Not only Coin used it to kill several of the capitol children, she used it to kill her own medics which includes Prim. 

Katniss was clever enough to realize that Coin had kill Primrose by putting Prim in the front line of the War. Prim has not been given the privilege of being a Solider and was sent to fight. At the Age of 13. And Pulling that scenario, on how Coin drop the second bomb knowing that Prim had gone to help and Katniss was still down there, was just a sneaking move.

My Theory is, Coin saw Katniss as a threat and knowing that she is the face of the rebellion only made her more powerful than she is. So getting rid of Prim would destroy Katniss. 
Coin never liked Katniss in the beginning, she always favoured Peeta. Boggs had warned Katniss. If Katniss immediate answer isn't Coin for being the new leader then she is a threat.

Besides all the Drama, Coin died after all. It was for the best. She was just as worst as President Snow.

Lastly I will like to say, I highly recommend this to a mature audience. And it is a must read!

The Main Idea?

Subject: Amazon Forest

Details: It talked about the layers of the forest.

Which are the Forest floors, Understory and the Canopy.

Main Idea: Amazon Floors..

Reflection:

It had some interesting facts about the Amazon forest.

What I have learned that the Forest Floor is the lowest region. It only has two percent of sunlight, however, it is rich rotting vegetation and dead organisms.

The Understory is so Thick that it has very little air movement, and only has 2-5 percent of sunlight. Many of the plant in the understory have large, broad leaves to collect as much sunlight as possible.  

Canopy is where the action begins. It has 80 percent of sunlight and the Canopy is where the Wealth of the Rainforest fruit and flower grow.

Jeff came back home with a black eye and explain to his father what had happen. He told his parents that he was only protecting himself and his friend. His dad was fine with it first until his sister came along and retold the whole story to discover that the School Bully was A Girl!   

Main Idea?

Subject: The Fight

Details: Jeff came back home with a Black Eye and explain what happen. And said he had no choice but to punch the bully to help his friend and because the bully punch him first. His father was fine at first, until his sister came along and bragged about to discover that the Bully. Lindsay, was a girl.

Main point: Fighting is not the answer. Even if they hurt you, its better to walk away.

My Retail:

I learned that Rainbows are often seen after a Rainstorm or during a Rainstorm.

A Rainbow is caused when the sunlight shines through raindrops.

There are different colours, like blue, green, yellow, purple, indigo and orange. But the Colour Pink is not part of the Rainbow.

I found out that their are double Rainbows. It is caused when the light reflects twice inside the water droplets. And in most double rainbows the colours that start from the bottom will be on top and the top colours will start in the bottom.

Sometimes Rainbows appear at Night they called Moonbows.

Instead of the Sunlight it is the Moonlight that reflects on raindrops.

The Colours of the Moonbows are White. But are very rare.

Subject: Catching fire

Details: Katniss is going against the Capitol. Uprising in the districts are rising and she is the Mockingjay. (How do I know Bonnie and Twill visit Katniss in the book.)

Main Idea: Saving Peeta and Surviving..

Subject: Mockingjay/Katniss the Mockingjay sign of Hope.
Details: Katniss mission is to find President Snow and Kill him. To stop the Hunger games and to gain equal rights to each of the districts.
Main Idea: To Kill President Snow and to being the sign of Hope to those who are selfless in each district.

New Zealand is an island country that is made up of two major islands called the North Island and the South Island.  It is situated in the South Pacific. The capital city is Wellington but the largest city is Auckland.

Most people in New Zealand speak English but the Maori language is also spoken there by about 4% of the population. After the Second World War, Maori were discouraged to speak their language but in 1987 their language was declared as official language too. Many places now have dual Maori and English names.

Maori were the first people who came to New Zealand from Polynesia. New Zealand was first discovered by Europeans in 1642 when Dutch sailor Abel Tasman arrived. He left New Zealand because several members of his crew were killed by Maoris. Then in 1769 English Captain James Cook arrived and mapped the land.

Queen Elizabeth II is officially Queen of New Zealand. She is represented in New Zealand by a Governor General. New Zealand is a country that has two official anthems: “God save the Queen” and “God defend New Zealand”.

In New Zealand there are many unique species of animals. Some of them cannot be found anywhere else in the world. The reason for this that New Zealand was cut off from the rest of the land on Earth for 80 million years.

The oldest living kind of reptile is the native New Zealand Tuatara. Tuataras can live up to 300 years. It is estimated that Tuataras can be traced back 190 million years to the Mesozoic era.

Another native bird of New Zealand (the Moa) was one of the largest birds in history – that was up to 3.6m tall and weighed about 300kg. They don´t live anymore because they were hunted by the Maoris.  New Zealand's national symbol is a nocturnal flightless bird that is called the kiwi. The weta is the largest and heaviest insect in the world.

The term ‘Kiwi’ is also used as a nickname for a New Zealander.

Catching Fire the Hunger Games Saga

I am reading the series of the Hunger Games.. :D 

I have finally read the catching fire and now moving towards Mockingjay...

The catching fire is a spin of fear and hope..
As the capitol is threaten by Katniss stun and hear she is the Mockingjay..

Katniss is once again part of the Hunger Games but is even threaten more. 
The Quarter Quell which is every 25 years it is a reminder to those that you can't not over power the capitol.  

President Snow see Katniss as hope to those, he is doing everything he can to get rid of her... and the mocking jay..

Reading Sunshine Online/Finding the Safe..

My Reflection:

On the Sunshine online, I read finding the safe.. It was about a couple of friends who were discovering and having fun during their school holidays.. They made a stop to look at the ways near a cliff where they visit caustically. One of them, started to find coins in the strangest place.  They picked up the loose changes. They hid the money from the two bullies who came up to check what they were doing and forget about the five dollars that were in the bushes and then they hurried away excited on what to do with the money. Carlo and his dog hurried and race up to the others, seeing the Doris had a piece of red cloth with her. Carlo urge them to come down to see what they found and soon discover a safe filled with hard core cash that layed opened and abandoned. And only recently there saw someone up there before. So they take the hands of matter to the cops. The police officer Long said that the money is from a local motor repair store. But still there was one question to answer, who were the thieves. After delivering back the stolen money there found they were soo uptie on what to do about the money there were awarded with. On the street there were a couple arguing, a man and a women. The women wore a red blouse which that had a torn at the back missing a piece of cloth. So they hurried to the police station with evident's and soon the couple got charge for robbery.

(Christian) S - S is for sense, having a sense of when to act right or wrong.

Kindness is a spark that gleams in each of our hearts. A spirit of warmth and care that shares the unique characters of us.  

Kindness is care, compassion, loving and bear.

Also Comfort but sadly it is rare.

Make it constant to show who is there.

Open up, let it glint and treat all those with care.

Don’t be cruel and shady like, but be the one who treats everyone right.

Make the difference of being kind. Seek for the helpless and weak who needs that sunshine.

Kindness can make a change, kindness is a solution of our endless pain.

Kindness is pure and an act of care for who ever is in fear.

Neglect and pain will all be washed away.

Look forward for the day to participate and pay attention at class and play.  

Treat yourself with care because you are not being fair. Now explore aspect in life and change the way you see things in life.

                

Procedural Writing- How to make a Pizza

A Mix Pizza:

Materials: Bowls , Shift , Fork , Table Spoon, Tray, Sharp Knife, Rolling Pin, Measuring cups, TSP, Cooking Spray, Tablespoon.

Ingredients: Flour, Baking Powder, 1 Onion, 1 Capcican, 16 Chicken Pieces- 8 pieces Ham, one bag Cheese ( Brand: Edam) ,  Half Pineapple, a bag of mushrooms, Canola Oil,  1 Tomato paste.

Seasoning:

Coriander, Mixed Herbs, Salt, Black Pepper.

Pizza Base.

2 1/2 cups of flour

2 tsp of baking flour

3 tsp of canola oil

1/4 tsp of milk.

Method:

Slice the capican and make sure it is cut into little bits.

Cut the ham and pineapple into bold pieces.

Cut the mushrooms in the fin slices.    

1. Turn the oven at 250 degrees and then move on and

Sift the flour and the baking powder together in a bowl.

2. In a different bowl pour in the oil and the cup of milk and make sure it is mixed together.

3. Once you're finished make a hole in middle of the dry ingredients and then pour in the oil and milk and mix! mix! mix! make sure shape it into a dough.

4. Try to shape the dough together and grab every single bit.

Once its finished. Roll it down with a rolling pin.

(Tips- if its still crumbly add some oil to moisten the dough or if it doesn’t work put it back on the bowl and add more milk.)

5. Spray  the tray with the oil spray and then put the flat piece of dough on the tray.

6. Make sure the pizza base is  stretched shaped. Then add tomato paste.

7. First add the seasoning that you wish and then add the toppings. (I recommend you leave the cheese for last for better results.)

8. Put it in the oven and be very careful

( To check put a fork through the pizza base, if it is clean that is a sign that the pizza is ready.)

9. Take it out, leave it to cool down for a while.

10. Then.. EAT! EAT! EAT!

Hi there,
I am happy enough to share with those who are a big fan of "Anime" especially Dracula everlasting which is a great book now I'm reading it.. 
But wait for my next post coming up with "Book Review." 
And I will spill many secrets that you will die for.

Book Review

I've just finished reading this Manga Japanese Anime Book
Which is Very interesting because this is my first time, thanks to a friend of mine shown me this and I feel in love with the book! 
Firstly to make it clear Dracula means Vampire!
